Cleaning & Care Guide
YOUR PASHMINA IS A DELICATE ACCESSORY.
Traditionally, pashminas are not washed to preserve their delicate fibers. But we understand that life happens and we want your pashmina to stay looking as good as new.
Here are some safe and effective care methods to help maintain its beauty without causing damage:

For our small stone pashminas, hand washing is the most gentle option:
Fill a bucket or bowl with cold water.
Use a utensil to mix a pea size of gentle laundry soap into the water.
Add your pashmina in to the bucket and soak for 5 minutes.
Empty the bucket of water and carefully rinse your pashmina in cold water. Gems are delicate. Do NOT scrub.
To get rid of excess water, gently bunch the pashmina and squeeze. Avoid twisting/‘ringing out’ excess water to prevent thread damage.
Our Large Stone pashminas can be preserved in their best condition by dry cleaning.

Small Stone Pashminas: Wash pashmina on a delicate cycle using cold water.
Large Stone Pashminas: Do NOT machine wash.
-
It's best to let your pashmina air dry: Drape your pashmina over a hanger and let hang dry. Place a towel under the pashmina to catch excess water droplets and protect the floor.
Recommended for: Small stone and Large stone pashminas
Another option is to machine dry on an air dry setting. While small rhinestone pashminas are safe to machine dry on the lowest heat setting, we suggest using a ‘no-heat’ drying method to preserve your pashminas quality.
Recommended for: Small stone pashminas ONLY

Option 1: If your pashmina is wrinkled, hang it on a hanger in the bathroom and close all doors and windows. The steam from a hot shower will help relax and release the wrinkles.
Option 2: Carefully use a handheld steam machine to help wrinkles fall away.

Loose threads may occur on a pashmina. Upon noticing any loose threads, cut the thread and gently run your finger over the area to ensure that threadig remains in its correct position.

Snags may occur caused by regular wear and tear. If you notice a snag, lay the pashmina out on a table or floor. Use your finger to gently pull the threads back into their correct position.
